Frameless Shower Enclosure
This acknowledgment forms part of the Installation Agreement between Maven Glass LLC and the homeowner. It establishes the expected performance characteristics of frameless shower enclosures and documents the homeowner's understanding of those characteristics before installation.
Thank you for choosing Maven Glass LLC. Frameless shower enclosures are crafted for a clean, open look and are intended to contain water within normal use. Because they do not use full metal frames or compression seals, they are not completely watertight. The homeowner understands and acknowledges the following.
1Frameless Design
Frameless shower enclosures are designed to contain water during normal use while providing a clean, minimalist appearance. Because they do not incorporate full perimeter framing or compression seals, they are not intended to be completely watertight.
2Inherent Gaps
Small gaps are inherent to a frameless design and allow the door to open, close, and operate properly.
3Points of Water Escape
Water may escape at hinges, door clearances, thresholds, or panel joints, depending on how the shower is used.
4Showerhead Direction
Directing showerheads or body sprays toward doors or gaps may increase the amount of water that reaches the outside of the enclosure.
5Existing Conditions
The condition of the existing shower surround, including walls, curbs, and door jambs, can affect fit and performance. These surfaces are rarely perfectly plumb, level, or square. While we custom fit the glass as closely as possible, we cannot correct or eliminate existing structural or construction irregularities.
6Normal Use
Minor water outside the enclosure under normal use is not a product defect or an installation failure.
