Glass Services in Durham.
Maven Glass is a full-service glass company serving Durham, NC, with 33 years of glass experience. Shower doors and enclosures, window glass and failed sealed units, custom mirrors, storefronts and commercial doors, emergency board-up and auto glass. Licensed and insured, working out of our shop in Morrisville.
We measure and install. The glass is fabricated to our measurements by the manufacturer, which is why the measure appointment matters: tempered glass is made to final size and cannot be cut or trimmed afterward. Send a photo and rough dimensions and we can usually quote right over the phone.
What to expect
Call or send a photo and rough dimensions and we can usually give you a quote right over the phone. We call within 24 hours to book your critical measure, and that appointment comes with a one-hour arrival window instead of a half-day of waiting. Your glass is then made to exact dimensions, quality-checked on arrival, and installed clean.
Durham work is mostly renovation, not replacement
More of our Durham calls start with a renovation than with a failure. A bathroom is being taken back to studs, a stairwell is opening up, a kitchen is getting a glass partition, and the glass is the last trade in. That changes what matters: the measurement cannot happen until the tile and the curb are finished, and the schedule has to fit around whoever is working before us.
We book the critical measure for after the substrate is done, and we are straight about what the walls are doing. Older Durham houses are rarely plumb, and a frameless enclosure in an out-of-plumb opening needs a design that accounts for it rather than a promise that it will close like a cabinet door. We would rather tell you that at the measure than after the glass is made.
Our services page lists everything we do, or go straight to shower enclosures, window glass, mirrors or commercial glass.

Common Questions
Durham questions, answered.
Do you work with contractors and designers in Durham?
Yes, regularly. We work to the contractor's timeline, measure once the substrate is finished, and can prequalify most projects by phone from drawings before anyone is on site. Durham is part of our regular service area.
What kinds of glass work do you do?
Shower doors and enclosures, window glass and failed sealed units, custom mirrors, storefronts and commercial doors, emergency board-up, and auto glass. We measure and install; the glass itself is fabricated to our measurements by the manufacturer. Licensed and insured, with 33 years of glass experience.
Can you quote without coming out?
Usually yes. Send a photo and rough dimensions and we can give you a realistic quote over the phone. The exact price is confirmed after the critical measure appointment, because glass is made to final size and cannot be adjusted afterward.
